HO - Product Marketing Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to drive the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and adoption of our banking products. This role will act as a key bridge between Product, Sales, Digital, Compliance, and Marketing teams, translating complex financial products into clear, customer-centric value propositions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in banking or financial services, excels in cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about delivering products that meet real customer needs while complying with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Product Positioning & Value Proposition
- Define and refine value propositions for banking products (retail, SME, corporate, and/or digital).
- Translate product features, pricing, and policies into clear customer benefits.
- Develop differentiated positioning aligned with customer segments and competitive landscape.
Go-To-Market (GTM) & Launch Management
- Own end-to-end go-to-market plans for new product launches and enhancements.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance.
- Ensure timely delivery of launch assets and readiness across all channels.
Market & Customer Insights
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Monitor competitors’ offerings, pricing, promotions, and messaging.
- Identify insights to support product innovation, enhancements, and portfolio optimization.
Sales Enablement & Internal Readiness
- Develop sales tools and materials including:
- Product briefs and one-pagers
- Sales decks and pitch scripts
- FAQs and objection handling guides
- Training materials for branch staff, RMs, and call centers
- Provide product training and support to frontline teams.
Campaign & Performance Management
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital, branch, and partner channels.
- Track and analyze product performance metrics including acquisition, activation, usage, and retention.
- Optimize messaging and campaigns based on data and insights.
Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Manage approvals for product communications and marketing materials.
- Act as the central point of contact for product marketing-related matters.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent professional qualification is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or marketing roles within banking or financial services
- Proven experience managing go-to-market strategies and product launches
- Experience working in regulated environments is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of banking products and customer lifecycles
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
