Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of core banking projects (implementation, migration, upgrade, integration).
• Define project scope, goals, timeline, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business units, IT teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues regularly to stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and steering committees.

Core Banking System Expertise

• Oversee implementation of core banking solutions (e.g., Temenos T24, Finacle, Flexcube, etc.).
• Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to ensure proper system configuration and integration.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and operational requirements.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage change requests, scope changes, and issue resolution.
• Ensure business continuity planning during system migration or cutover.

Budget & Resource Management

• Manage project budgets and ensure cost control.
• Allocate and optimize resources across project teams.
• Track financial performance and project ROI.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in project management within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience managing core banking system projects.
• Experience with system implementation or migration at a large scale.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of core banking platforms (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, Oracle Flexcube).
• Knowledge of banking operations (Retail, Corporate, Loans, Deposits, Payments).
• Familiarity with integration technologies, APIs, and digital banking platforms.

Certifications (Preferred)

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications.
• ITIL or relevant banking certifications are a plus.
